About these tools

Is anything I type into these tools sent anywhere?
No. Every calculator runs entirely in your browser and nothing you type is stored or transmitted. Analytics records that a tool was used and the name of the field you changed, "Gas to buy", say, so we know which tools are worth improving, but never the number you put in it. You can open any of them, disconnect from the internet, and they still work.
Do I need an account to use them?
No. There’s no sign-up, no email wall and no usage limit. Nothing on this site is gated.
Are the tax figures accurate enough to file with?
No, and they aren’t meant to be. The tax estimator models US federal capital gains at a rough level to show you the shape of a liability. It ignores state tax, the collectibles question, wash-sale treatment and your wider income position. Use it to decide whether you need an accountant, not instead of one.
Where do the gas price scenarios come from?
They’re representative of typical Ethereum mainnet ranges rather than a live feed, which is why the estimator asks you to enter a current gwei figure and points you at a gas tracker for it. Layer 2 networks such as Polygon, Base and Arbitrum typically cost a small fraction of mainnet.
